a before and after glimpse.

as you can see, we still need to install a small section of flooring in that nook where the bookcases are, and the railing needs a coat of varnish.  minor details :)
here's an extremely small glimpse of what we've been up to for the past three months, you know, just in case you thought I was pulling your leg or something.

(I'll pause for a moment while you quickly scoop your jaw up off the floor.)

so, yeah.  talk about a drastic change, hey?  from ugly, dingy, dark, borderline ghetto-ish, to a place that is bright and inviting, a place that I enjoy living in, and most importantly, a place that I am proud to call my "home."

PS. I have absolutely no idea what I'm going to fill those yellow bookcases up with, but aren't they rad?
