overheard as I was getting ready to head out the door last evening to go watch Ella's play at school:

Phoebe: every day, mom puts on nice clothes.

Ella: yeah, but sometimes when we get home from school, she's still in her pajamas.

Phoebe: well, she always changes before dad gets home, though.

Ella: probably cuz she doesn't want him to think she's lazy.

EEEP!  busted!
