calm down, people. besides crazy, I'm not planning on going anywhere soon. I know, shucks hey? guess you're gonna have to put up with me for a bit longer. oh cheer up, there could be worse things. like having to change a dozen diarrhea diapers a day for a week straight for one. or how about being left to clean up several gallons (okay, pints) of barf off the carpet because seriously, do kids consider it a crime to hurl in the toilet (or on any hard surface for that matter) or what? does it make them feel better if they puke on the rug? or perhaps it's just another one of their dramatic plays for attention?
speaking of which, I smell something. and it's not a dozen roses, either. but will you send me some?
actually, I'm really not here to complain about the stomach flu that has been plaguing us for a week now, even though I just did. nor am I here to beg you to send me flowers, like I also just did. no, I'm here to tell you about grandma and grandpa Kesti, who, after spending six weeks in sunny Arizona, packed up and headed for home last Saturday. sniff.
and while it's always hard to say good-bye, on the flip side, we're already looking forward to their return next year. and rumor has it they may even stay for four months! for you mathematicians out there, that's one third of a year. see? I am quite smart. no really, I am. I only pretend to be dumb so people will feel sorry for me.
about those dozen roses...
needless to say, we really, REALLY enjoyed having them here, as did the kids. and as promised, grandma did turn some of those apples into apple pie. the 65 pounds, remember?

Thank you, dear daughter-in-law, for the wonderful time. You have such sweet kids! As we pulled out from your place on Saturday I felt like I didn't know if I was 'Leaving home or going home'. We had such a nice time in AZ this year! I'm sure the 4 months will fly by next year, God willing that all goes well so we get there.
We are going to miss you all so much!

Love the pictures with Grandma and Grandpa, a treasure for sure! I continue to enjoy all your photos and get my morning chuckle reading your entries. I've been meaning to ask, Has Rowan chilled out at all? My Z, 2 1/2 yr old, reminds me of your many stories of Rowan! He is my daily challenge right now, has been for at least 7-8 months. I am curious as to what kind of camera you have...also lenses? do you have a favourite?
What about a camera bag? I myself have bought one from jototes, and have been very happy with it.
Have you just taught yourself photography? Do you shoot in manual? When did you become interested in it?
Sorry for all the question, I am just really curious as I am getting into photography and LOVE it, but still do have a lot to learn!
